• To meet our challenges, we are looking for a Buyer- Industrial Purchase within the Procurement team! This position will be located in Gokak.

• This position is responsible for effective and cost oriented sourcing operations for the plant adhering to the SOP's with a focus on sustainable and enviroment friendly outlook.

Key Responsibilities

• Source and procure mechanical spares, consumables, and maintenance services as per plant requirements.
• Obtain quotations, conduct price negotiations, and finalize purchase orders.
• Develop and maintain relationships with approved vendors and service providers.
• Coordinate with maintenance, engineering, and stores teams for technical clarifications and procurement planning.
• Track order execution, deliveries, and service completion to ensure compliance with timelines.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities through strategic sourcing and vendor development.
• Monitor supplier performance related to quality, delivery, and responsiveness.
• Ensure adherence to procurement policies, documentation, and audit requirements.
• Timely MIS reports and cost tracking

• BE in Mechanical/Electrical/E&C/IP preferred or MBA in SCM
• 3 - 5+ years of experience in procurement of spares and maintenance services in manufacturing, engineering, steel, cement, chemical, or similar industries.
