About the role

As a Graduate in Risk Advisory Services (Internal Audit & Risk) at RSM Australia, you will work alongside experienced professionals to help clients identify, assess and manage risks that impact their business from a strategic, operational and technical perspective. You will gain exposure to diverse industries and develop expertise in governance, compliance and risk management while contributing to projects that enhance organisational resilience and performance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in planning and executing risk assessments and internal audits across various industry sectors.
• Evaluate internal controls and identify areas for process improvement.
• Assist in preparing clear, concise reports and recommendations for clients.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver high quality engagement.
• Participate in client meetings and contribute to internal presentations.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant standards, regulations and good practices.
• Work towards professional accreditation (e.g. CIA, CA or CPA) with full organisational support.

About you

Essential

• Undergraduate degree with good academic performance
• An interest in risk, governance, internal audit and process improvement.
• Eligibility to undertake professional qualifications such as Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA).
• Non-essential but desirable
• Post-graduate qualifications or double degree.
• Work experience in a business environment.
