Software Engineer 3 (IDN - 196)

Serving Maryland and the Greater Washington D.C. area, SageCor Solutions (SageCor) is a growing company bringing complete engineering services and true full lifecycle System Engineering services to areas requiring (or desiring) nationally-recognized expertise in high performance computing, large data analytics and cutting edge information technologies.

Active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph required.

SWE-3 Qualifications

• Master’s degree in computer science or related discipline from an
• accredited college or university, plus five (5) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and
• contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

OR

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline from an accredited college or
• university, plus seven (7) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar
• scope, type, and complexity

OR

Nine (9) years of experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and

complexity.

Position Required Skills

• Experience using the Linux CLI
• Proficiency in scripting (Bash) to automate tasks and processes
• Experience developing software solutions using the Python programming language
• Experience implementing RBAC/ABAC for HPC systems
• Experience with advanced Linux security administration including PAM, SELinux, file

permissions, ACLs, and audit logging.

• Experience developing IAM solutions using Keycloak
• Experience implementing identity federation and SSO (SAML, OIDC, OAuth2)
• Experience developing and maintaining secret management integrations using HashiCorp

Vault

• Experience developing Ansible playbooks to orchestrate the automation of provisioning

HPC hardware and software components

• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker, PodMan, containerd
• Experience with CI/CD principles, methodologies, and tools including GitLab CI
• Experience with Git Source Control System

Position Desired Skills

• Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence)
• Familiar with Agile, Scrum, or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodologies
