• Sanimax is looking to hie a Route Planning Specialist in our Deforest WI location.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan route optimization based on monthly and weekly customer pickups planned in collaboration with the Transportation teams.
• Review and update planning information and forecasted customer pickups to ensure data integrity, customer service and efficient routing.
• Monitor planned routes against actual results to improve overall route efficiency.
• Perform key data analysis and maintenance activities to support efficient and improved processes.

Education and Experience

Degree in Logistics, Transportation, or equivalent experience.

3 to 5 years of experiencein transportation or logistics, with experience as a Transportation Planner or Dispatcher strongly preferred.

Skills and Qualifications

• Ability to plan and coordinate transportation routes locally and over longer distances while working with a central planning team.
• Knowledge of transportation and routing software used to plan and optimize routes, such as Ortec,Roadshow or Roadnet.
• Proven ability to build relationships with key stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to proactively identify cost efficiencies.
• Ability to work autonomously and with a sense of urgency.
• Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft Office combined with strong analytical skills.
