About the Education Segment
Schneider Electric's Education Segment provides technical training solutions that close the skills gap in energy, automation and digital technologies. We equip technical and vocational institutes, universities, government skilling programmes and industry academies with hands-on training labs, curricula, digital learning, train-the-trainer programmes and certification.
Demand is rising fast. Governments are investing heavily in workforce skilling, industry faces acute technician shortages, and the energy transition and smart manufacturing need new skills at scale. The segment has already helped more than 200,000 young people gain job-ready skills.
We are building a dedicated delivery organisation in India, combining in-house experts with a network of certified local service partners. Service partners are essential to how we serve institutions in every state, reliably and close to the customer.
Purpose of the role
Build, develop and manage the Education Segment's network of service partners across India. You will make sure that every institution, in every state, can count on qualified local partners to install, commission and support its training solutions.
You will select and certify partners, build their capabilities, manage their performance and make the partner model a reliable, scalable extension of our own delivery team.
Market overview
India has one of the world's largest and fastest-growing technical training markets. National skilling programmes, the modernisation of ITIs, polytechnics and engineering colleges, and rapid growth in manufacturing, energy and digital infrastructure are creating strong demand for industry-grade training solutions.
Institutions across India expect solutions delivered to schedule, trainers ready to teach, and reliable local support for many years. This calls for a strong delivery organisation backed by a network of capable local partners.

Identify, assess and select service partners with the right technical skills, coverage and quality standards.
Agree partner contracts, scope of work and service levels with procurement, legal and the operations centre.
Certification and capability
Run onboarding and certification programmes for partner engineers and trainers, working with master trainers and engineering.
Keep partners up to date as new training solutions are launched, through refresher training and technical documentation.
Make sure partners follow our health, safety, quality and compliance standards on every site.
Partner performance
Assign partners to projects and service requests, balancing workload, skills and location.
Track partner performance on quality, timeliness, safety and customer feedback; run regular reviews and improvement plans.
Recognise and grow high-performing partners; address under-performance quickly.
Customer satisfaction and services
Make sure partner work meets institutions' expectations and contributes to high customer satisfaction.
Support the growth of services through partners: maintenance contracts, spare parts, upgrades and train-the-trainer programmes.
Act as the escalation point for partner-related issues raised by institutions or project teams.
Processes and tools
Set up clear processes, tools and reporting for partner management, work orders and service tickets.
Share lessons from the field with the delivery and engineering teams to improve products and processes.
8–12 years in field services, service partner or channel management, preferably with industrial, electrical or automation equipment.
Proven experience building and managing a multi-state partner network in India, including selection, contracting, certification and performance management.
Good technical understanding of installation, commissioning and maintenance of engineered equipment.
Strong focus on quality, safety and customer satisfaction.
Organised and data-driven, with experience of service management tools and reporting.
Excellent communicator and negotiator, comfortable working with partners, institutions and internal teams.
