Enterprise Sales BDM

Sydney, Australia +1 In person Full-time

Great enterprise sales starts before the opportunity hits the pipeline.

It starts with getting in the room, understanding what matters to the customer and building the kind of relationship where they want to involve you early.

We’re looking for an experienced Enterprise Sales Leader to drive growth across strategic enterprise customers in Australia. You’ll work directly with end users, build relationships with C-suite and senior decision-makers, grow existing accounts and open doors with new customers.

Working across APC by Schneider Electric’s power management and critical infrastructure portfolio, you’ll bring together the right expertise from across our business to shape solutions, lead major pursuits and build long-term customer partnerships.

This role is for someone who genuinely enjoys the hunt, but understands that enterprise sales is built on trust. You’ll be accustomed to selling directly to end users, getting close to your customers, understanding their business and creating opportunities well beyond the immediate sale.

Your playing field

You’ll have the opportunity to

Build trusted relationships with C-suite and senior enterprise decision-makers

Own and grow a portfolio of strategic enterprise accounts

Identify new logos and turn prospects into meaningful customer relationships

Lead major pursuits from early engagement through negotiation and close

Understand customer challenges and connect them with the right solutions

Bring together sales and technical teams to develop compelling propositions

Build and manage a strong pipeline, with a clear focus on where we can win

What will make you successful?

First and foremost, you’ll bring strong experience selling directly to enterprise end users. This is essential for the role. You know how to navigate complex customer organisations, build credibility with senior stakeholders and develop opportunities directly with the client.

You’ll also bring

  • 5+ years’ experience in enterprise sales, strategic account management or business development
  • Demonstrated success opening new accounts and winning new-logo business
  • Experience leading complex, high-value sales pursuits through to close
  • Experience within IT, power management, critical infrastructure or a related technology environment
  • The ability to understand technical solutions and translate them into a clear customer proposition
  • A collaborative style, with the confidence to bring different teams together around a customer opportunity
  • The opportunity is bigger than the sale.
  • It’s about becoming someone your customers call early. Someone who understands their business, earns their trust and can connect them to the breadth of expertise across Schneider Electric.
  • If your strength is getting close to enterprise customers, earning a seat at the table and turning relationships into long-term growth, we’d like to hear from you.
  • Apply today.
