The Opportunity

At Schneider Electric, we're looking for a Customer Success Manager to join our UK team and help our customers maximise the value of their electrical infrastructure, services and digital solutions.

This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys building lasting customer relationships, solving problems and working collaboratively to deliver successful outcomes.

You'll manage a portfolio of customers, acting as their key point of contact throughout the lifecycle of their service contracts. You'll work closely with our technical, operational and commercial teams to ensure customers receive the support they need, while identifying opportunities to enhance their experience and deliver additional value.

Whether you're an experienced customer success professional or an electrical engineer looking to transition into a more customer-focused role, we'd be interested in hearing from you.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships, acting as a trusted point of contact and ensuring customers receive a consistently high level of service.
  • Manage the customer journey from onboarding and adoption through to contract renewal, supporting long-term customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Conduct regular customer meetings, site visits and business reviews to understand customer needs, review performance and agree on next steps.
  • Work closely with engineering and service delivery teams to coordinate planned maintenance, shutdowns, equipment lifecycle requirements and ongoing service activities.
  • Develop and maintain customer success plans, ensuring agreed outcomes are delivered and potential issues are addressed proactively.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction, contract performance and service delivery, using insights to identify areas for improvement.
  • Identify opportunities to introduce additional services, solutions or contract enhancements that support customers' evolving requirements.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Operations and technical specialists to ensure seamless communication and delivery across the customer lifecycle.
  • Support contract renewals, helping customers understand the ongoing value of Schneider Electric's products and services.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who combines strong interpersonal skills with an understanding of electrical engineering, service delivery or technical environments.

Ideally, you'll bring

A background in electrical engineering, technical services, customer success, account management or contract management.

An understanding of electrical infrastructure, ideally including low-voltage (LV) and high-voltage (HV) systems.

Experience managing customer relationships, resolving challenges and coordinating with internal stakeholders.

Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage confidently with customers and technical teams.

Commercial awareness, including the ability to recognise opportunities to improve service value and strengthen customer partnerships.

Good organisational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple customers and priorities.

A proactive, collaborative approach and a genuine commitment to delivering positive customer outcomes.

A minimum Level 3 qualification in Electrical Engineering, with a bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline preferred.

Willingness to travel to customer sites across the UK, typically around two days per week.

Experience with service contracts, project management, customer success platforms or CRM systems such as Salesforce would be an advantage.

You don't need to have worked as a Customer Success Manager before. If you have a strong technical foundation, enjoy working with customers and want to develop your career in a more relationship-focused and commercially aware position, we'd encourage you to apply.

Why Join Schneider Electric?

You'll have the opportunity to work with customers across critical electrical infrastructure environments, helping them maximise the performance, reliability and value of their installed equipment and services.

You'll be supported by experienced technical and operational teams, allowing you to focus on developing customer relationships, understanding their needs and delivering long-term value.

This role offers the opportunity to develop your commercial, technical and relationship management skills within a global energy technology business.
