About Schroders

Schroders is a global investment manager which provides active asset management, wealth management and investment solutions. We aim to provide excellent investment performance to clients through active management. We serve a diverse client base that includes pension schemes, insurance companies, sovereign wealth funds, endowments, foundations, high net worth individuals, family offices, as well as end clients through partnerships with distributors, financial advisers, and online platforms.

Established in 1804, we have around 5,500 people across 36 global locations. Schroders' success can be attributed to its diversified business model, spanning different asset classes, client types and geographies.

What you’ll do

  • Support revenue-generating activities by working closely with Sales Managers and teams, ensuring administrative and organisational needs are met and contributing to the achievement of business targets.
  • Assist in the preparation of effective sales and marketing materials by contributing to documentation, coordinating inputs, and ensuring materials are tailored to client needs and delivered to deadlines.
  • Participate in sales meetings and pitches where appropriate, supporting the Sales Managers through preparation, distribution of materials, and accurate recording and follow-up of actions.
  • Help identify, prioritise, and progress new business opportunities by monitoring leads, supporting lead generation activities, and tracking pipeline progress through the CRM system.
  • Coordinate the preparation of proposals and client communication materials for acquisition of new clients, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with business requirements.
  • Provide support for RFP/RFI processes in partnership with the RFP team, validating responses, gathering supporting information, and ensuring timely coordination.
  • Coordinate internal fee approval processes by managing documentation requirements for commercial assessment forums, assisting with fee negotiations and share class waiver requests.
  • Respond to acquisition-related client queries in a prompt, professional manner, escalating when required and ensuring all communications are client-centric and accurate.
  • Organise and support client meetings, such as new business pitches —by managing logistics, preparing and distributing materials, and documenting meeting outcomes.
  • Maintain CRM records and sales data integrity by updating client details, contact hierarchies, meeting notes, and opportunity statuses, supporting accurate reporting and informed decision-making.
  • Track and review new business and retention opportunities by diligently logging outcomes, assisting with the review of unsuccessful pitches, and contributing feedback for future improvements.

What You’ll Be Like

  • Take Ownership and Deliver: You consistently step up to challenges, taking accountability for client outcomes. Your expertise, integrity and commitment set a high standard for others, and you deliver on promises with precision and reliability.
  • Collaborative Partner: You actively champion collaboration, breaking down silos and building effective partnerships across teams to deliver the best possible client solutions. You address challenges openly and constructively, focusing on resolving issues and driving improvement.
  • Innovative and Curious: You challenge the status quo and are comfortable adapting your approach with agility. You seek out opportunities to simplify complexity, bringing forward creative solutions that drive progress for clients and the business.
  • Inspiring Colleague: You embody the values and culture of the firm, leading by example and inspiring those around you. You recognise and celebrate strengths in others, encourage growth, and empower your colleagues to excel and contribute meaningfully.
  • Client Centric and Future-Focused: You anticipate institutional clients’ evolving needs with foresight and proactively address potential challenges. You strive to provide a seamless, exceptional experience for every client, delivering with attention to detail and quality at all times.[HS1.1]
