Who we're looking for
We are looking for an experienced Delivery Lead to take end-to-end accountability for a portfolio of core banking and data initiatives. You will work across Temenos/T24, TDS, payments, transaction reporting, lending, custody and relevant Snowflake and data products, taking delivery from early definition through implementation, production remediation and BAU.
This is a hands-on delivery role. You will get into the detail of plans, estimates, backlogs, capacity, dependencies, defects, controls and service issues; challenge where the evidence does not support the position; and create the clarity and momentum required to deliver across internal teams, business stakeholders and suppliers.

The opportunity in Wealth Technology
Wealth has ambitious growth objectives and is modernising the banking and data capabilities that underpin its client and operational services. This portfolio includes strategic change, regulatory delivery, platform improvement and operational remediation across an interconnected estate.
The opportunity is to bring firm delivery leadership to a complex portfolio: turn demand into executable plans, improve control of suppliers and commercials, expose cross-platform dependencies and help teams resolve issues rather than simply report them. The role will directly lead Temenos delivery and the vendor relationship, while coordinating the wider banking and data agenda.
Success will mean a portfolio with clear priorities, credible plans, controlled costs and accountable owners; vendors held to their commitments; operational risks driven to resolution; and change delivered predictably into a stable, supportable service.
The team
You will join Wealth Technology and work closely with product and platform leads, engineering, architecture, data, operations, control functions and business teams. You will directly lead the Temenos delivery team and work across internal teams and strategic partners, including providers supporting banking, integration and data delivery.
What you'll do
- Own the integrated portfolio plan across Temenos/T24, TDS, payments, transaction reporting, lending, custody and relevant Snowflake and data initiatives, from definition through delivery and BAU.
- Directly lead Temenos delivery, including the team, plans, backlog, capacity, estimates, milestones, quality, environments, defects, releases and service transition.
- Get into the delivery detail to test whether plans are credible, identify gaps early and drive practical resolution of blockers, dependencies and competing priorities.
- Manage delivery partners and suppliers, holding them to contractual commitments and agreed standards across scope, commercials, capacity, quality, milestones and performance.
- Turn business demand into clear outcomes and executable delivery, facilitating decisions and alignment across business, operations, product, engineering, architecture, data and control functions.
- Manage portfolio risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies, changes and financials with clear ownership, evidence-based reporting and timely escalation.
- Own delivery of material production remediation, vulnerabilities, control improvements and service actions alongside funded change, ensuring operational risks are driven to sustainable closure.
- Improve delivery discipline across the portfolio, establishing practical ways of working, useful metrics and a continuous-improvement approach that carries into BAU.
The knowledge, experience and qualifications you need
- A strong record of leading complex banking, data or technology portfolios across multiple teams, suppliers, platforms and business areas.
- Experience of core banking delivery; direct Temenos or T24 experience is strongly preferred, supported by an understanding of integrations, data flows, testing, release and operational readiness.
- Sufficient technical and delivery depth to interrogate plans, estimates, backlogs, environments, defects, controls and service issues, and distinguish evidence from assertion.
- Strong vendor and commercial management experience, including statements of work, contractual commitments, financial forecasting, capacity, milestones, quality, service performance and remediation.
- Experience managing a mixed portfolio of strategic change, regulatory commitments, platform improvement and operational remediation in a regulated environment.
- Ability to create credible integrated plans and manage cross-platform dependencies, risks, governance and financials without losing sight of the underlying delivery detail.
- Credibility with senior business, technology and supplier stakeholders, with the judgement and confidence to challenge, facilitate decisions and drive accountable action.
What you'll be like
- Detail-oriented and delivery-focused, willing to work through the facts rather than manage by headline.
- Outcome-led and accountable, creating clarity where ownership and delivery cross organisational boundaries.
- Calm under pressure, able to surface difficult issues early and bring the right people together to resolve them.
- Commercially astute and firm with suppliers, combining constructive partnership with clear standards and evidence-based challenge.
- Pragmatic and improvement-minded, focused on making delivery work in practice and leaving behind stronger capability.
