Accounting Administrator

Bishopville, SC +1 In person Full-time

🌊 Who We Are

  • At Seaside Plumbing, we're not just fixing plumbingβ€”we're restoring peace, uplifting lives, and raising the standard of what service in the trades looks like.
  • Behind every great service company is a team that keeps everything organized, accurate, and moving forward. Our Accounting team plays an important role in making sure the day-to-day financial details of our business are handled correctly and on time.
  • If you're organized, comfortable working with numbers, and interested in continuing to build your accounting skills, we'd love to meet you.
  • ⚠️ Let's Be Clear (Read This First)
  • This is not for everyone.
  • Accounting requires consistency.
  • Details matter. Deadlines matter. And sometimes the work can be repetitive.

This is a role where

  • Accuracy matters
  • Organization matters
  • Follow-through matters
  • Willingness to learn matters
  • You'll work alongside an experienced Accounting team and help keep the everyday financial operations of our business running smoothly.
  • You don't need to know everything on Day One.
  • But you do need to be willing to learn, ask questions, take feedback, and take ownership of getting your work right.
  • πŸ‘‰ We are where the best come to become elite.

πŸ“Š What You'll Do

As an Accounting Administrator at Seaside Plumbing, you'll support the day-to-day accounting and administrative functions of our business.

You will

  • Process accounts receivable transactions accurately and on time
  • Batch and process invoices
  • Enter and maintain financial information in QuickBooks and spreadsheets
  • Process field tickets, update account notes, and help identify discrepancies
  • Maintain customer memberships and recurring service information
  • Record and reconcile cash receipts and account adjustments
  • Assist with maintaining accurate accounting records and documentation
  • Provide administrative support during payroll processing
  • Help maintain accounting spreadsheets and routine reports
  • Research discrepancies and work with the Accounting team to resolve them
  • Provide backup support for other Accounting team functions as you become trained
  • Learn and follow established accounting procedures and internal controls
  • Help identify opportunities to make everyday processes more organized and efficient
  • As you grow in the position, you'll have opportunities to learn additional accounting functions and take on greater responsibility.

πŸ’ͺ What Success Looks Like Here

  • Your work is accurate, organized, and completed on time
  • You develop a strong understanding of our accounting processes
  • You catch discrepancies and know when to ask questions
  • You can be trusted to consistently complete your responsibilities
  • You communicate when something doesn't look right instead of making assumptions
  • You become more confident and independent as you learn
  • You're willing to jump in and support the Accounting team when needed
  • You continue developing your accounting knowledge and skills

🧠 What Makes This Role Different

  • This isn't just about entering numbers into a system.
  • It's an opportunity to build your accounting experience inside a growing company.
  • You'll work with an experienced Accounting team, learn how the financial side of a service business operates, and gain hands-on experience across several accounting functions.

We invest in people who

  • Want to learn
  • Take ownership
  • Ask good questions
  • Care about accuracy
  • Look for ways to improve
  • Want to grow their responsibilities over time
  • You don't have to come in as an accounting expert.
  • πŸ‘‰ We're looking for someone with a strong foundation who wants to become better.

  • We believe great people deserve to be taken care of.
  • Competitive pay based on experience
