Sem-Sol is seeking a Software Engineer to help us keep pace with demand. We need someone who will work well as a team because every day your job will involve collaborating with others who are invested in achieving the same goal. Our ideal candidate must also possess a combination of technical and communication skills as developing documentation goes hand-in-hand with developing software.

Duties will include
- Developing and documenting software for controlling systems and/or subsystems.
- Implementing a software repository and assisting with formal software configuration control.
- Preparing presentation materials and presenting work at design reviews.
- Collaborating daily with scientists, engineers, technicians, and program managers.
Required Qualifications
- B.S. in software engineering or related field from an accredited college
- Working knowledge of software used in programming embedded microcontrollers, programmable logic controllers, and embedded computers
- Working knowledge of C# for developing user interfaces
- Familiarity with developing software development plans
Desired Skills/Experience/Qualifications
2+ years of experience working on directed energy and/or pulsed power projects
5+ years of experience working on software control systems
Experience in a Research and Development environment
Active Top Secret security clearance
