Responsibilities

Include, but are not limited to

• Use statistical modeling tools to evaluate market pricing.
• Review new pricing entered into the system to ensure it follows the model.
• Communicating findings to sales team and management.
• Assist in corporate price increases. This includes helping managing exceptions, notification distribution, and customer specific reporting related to price increase.
• Analysis of impact of pricing. Reviewing the impact on margin dollars and margin percentage.
• Asist in risk analysis related to a price increase.
• Update customer facing pricing sheets.
• Work with the sales team to create customer-facing reporting. These reports focus on current sales trends related to the customers’ branches and products.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

• Introduction to reporting and dashboarding tools like Tableau and Salesforce.com.
• Use of adobe acrobat for price sheet updates.
• Excel Skills including – Visualizations and more complex formulas.
• Importance of pricing and how it relates to profitability of a company.
• Improve networking skills. Will meet and work with management in the operations and sales department.
• Graduate or working toward college degree.
• Outgoing and professional personality that will effectively connect with colleagues and supervisors.
• Knowledge of Microsoft suite of products (Excel, Word, & PowerPoint).
• Willingness to present data in front of small groups of people.
