Key Responsibilities

You will

Conduct discovery activities, including interviews and stakeholder or user input gathering, and document current-state processes, services, workflows and requirements.

Organize and analyze qualitative and quantitative information, identify initial themes, patterns, inconsistencies and gaps, and surface evidence-based observations, hypotheses and questions for further interpretation.

Support journey, service and process mapping and prepare concise synthesis, briefing and presentation materials that make findings useful for decisions and action.

Conduct environmental scans, benchmarking and targeted research; organize inputs and support consultation analysis for strategic and annual planning activities.

Gather strategic initiative, milestone and KPI updates from accountable teams; maintain performance data, trackers and dashboards; check information for completeness and consistency; and flag trends, gaps or emerging issues for review.

Prepare tables, charts and first drafts of progress reports and briefing materials, coordinate recurring strategy-reporting timelines, and maintain actions and decisions arising from reviews.

Gather process data such as volumes, cycle times, errors, rework and handoffs; document current-state processes; and develop process maps and baseline analyses.

Support root-cause analysis, measurement, pilots and testing; identify potential pain points and patterns requiring further analysis or validation; and maintain improvement data, project documentation, test results and lessons learned.

Own defined analytical, project or governance deliverables for designated enterprise and cross-functional priorities.

Develop and maintain workplans, schedules, action and decision logs, meeting and workshop materials, project documentation, presentations and status reports.

Coordinate agreed project and governance routines, monitor progress, follow up on commitments and flag risks, dependencies, slippage or unresolved actions to the appropriate lead.

Apply an inclusive, user-centered lens by considering whose perspectives need to be understood and recognizing that people may experience the same process, service or organizational issue differently.

Manage multiple assigned deliverables, communicate progress and capacity risks early, and contribute to a collaborative portfolio-wide approach to priority work.

While we know that for any job posting no one candidate will possess the qualifications being sought in equal measure, below is an outline of the qualifications we believe are important for a candidate to bring to the position or for the successful candidate to develop while in the role:

Typically, 3-5 years of relevant experience in qualitative research, business or process analysis, strategy support, project coordination, performance reporting, continuous improvement or similar cross-functional work.

Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to work with qualitative and quantitative information, distinguish evidence from assumptions and notice patterns, inconsistencies and gaps.

Experience gathering information through interviews, research, document review or basic data analysis and translating it into clear, useful synthesis.

Practical project coordination and organizational skills, including experience maintaining workplans, milestones, action and decision logs, project documentation and status reporting; exposure to project management approaches is considered an asset.

Working knowledge of process mapping, current-state analysis, measurement or structured problem-solving; exposure to Lean, Six Sigma or another continuous improvement approach is considered an asset.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare concise summaries, presentations, briefing materials and professional stakeholder communications.

High attention to detail, reliability and follow-through, with the ability to manage multiple defined deliverables and recurring reporting cycles.

Confidence working with employees and leaders across functions, asking clarifying questions and building productive relationships without formal authority.

Genuine curiosity about strategy, innovation and continuous improvement and a commitment to developing capability across these disciplines.

We are looking for a curious, analytical and highly organized individual who enjoys bringing clarity to complex problems and reliably moving important work forward.
