Skechers USA Manufacturing

Senior EDI Analyst

United Kingdom In person Full-time

Location: United Kingdom

At Skechers, our technology and supply chain teams play a critical role in ensuring seamless connectivity with customers and trading partners across the globe. We're looking for a Senior EDI Analyst to help drive the successful onboarding of trading partners across Europe and International regions, reducing onboarding backlogs and delivering high-quality integrations that support our growing business.

This is a hands-on, delivery-focused role where you'll take ownership of complex EDI onboarding projects from requirements gathering through to production go-live and hypercare. You'll work closely with internal teams, trading partners, and managed service providers to ensure successful project delivery while helping shape a scalable and sustainable onboarding capability for the future.

As our Senior EDI Analyst, you'll play a key role in accelerating EDI onboarding across Europe and International markets, providing technical expertise, driving projects forward, and helping deliver a best-in-class trading partner integration experience.

You'll

  • Lead multiple EDI onboarding projects from requirements gathering through testing, production go-live, and hypercare, ensuring successful delivery against agreed timelines.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for EDIFACT and ANSI X12 transactions, supporting order-to-cash, logistics, and supply chain processes across multiple markets.
  • Translate customer implementation requirements into clear mapping, integration, and testing plans, validating solutions delivered through OpenText, BTwentyFour, and other integration platforms.
  • Coordinate customer acceptance testing, system integration testing, defect resolution, cutover activities, and production readiness assessments.
  • Investigate and resolve mapping, transaction, connectivity, and integration issues using EDI payloads, application data, logs, and SQL analysis.
  • Partner with trading partners, Customer Service, ERP, WMS, Distribution Centre, and managed service teams to drive projects to completion and remove delivery blockers.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, implementation records, milestones, testing evidence, and status reporting throughout the onboarding lifecycle.
  • Support the development of reusable onboarding processes, testing standards, mapping approaches, and integration best practices to improve delivery efficiency.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to EDI analysts and project stakeholders on complex onboarding activities and troubleshooting scenarios.
  • Contribute to the modernisation of EDI capabilities, including legacy mapping improvements and adoption of scalable integration technologies.

What we're looking for

  • Strong hands-on experience delivering end-to-end EDI trading partner onboarding projects.
  • Deep knowledge of EDIFACT transaction sets and European EDI processes, with solid ANSI X12 experience.
  • Experience working with EDI translators and B2B integration platforms such as OpenText, BTwentyFour, IBM Sterling, Seeburger, Gentran, Boomi, or similar solutions.
  • Strong understanding of EDI mapping, transaction validation, integration testing, and production deployment activities.
  • Experience integrating EDI solutions with ERP, WMS, and backend business applications; Oracle Fusion or GarPac experience would be advantageous.
  • Strong SQL skills for transaction validation, data analysis, troubleshooting, and root-cause investigation.
  • Knowledge of AS2, FTP/SFTP, HTTP/HTTPS, VANs, EDI mailboxes, and related connectivity protocols.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and priorities while maintaining delivery quality and stakeholder confidence.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to issue resolution.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Additional European language skills, particularly German or Spanish, would be advantageous.

What you'll need

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Hands-on experience of EDI and B2B integration experience.

Proven experience independently delivering complex trading partner onboarding projects from requirements through production go-live.

Experience working within retail, footwear, fashion, manufacturing, logistics, or supply chain environments is strongly preferred.

Experience supporting European and International EDI implementations across multiple markets.

Why Skechers?

You'll have the opportunity to work on complex international projects, influence future EDI delivery practices, and further develop your expertise across EDI architecture, integration platforms, ERP connectivity, and global B2B operations.
