Role/Team overview
This role sits within Sky’s Group Risk Investigations function and plays a key part in protecting the business, its people, assets and reputation. As a Group Risk Investigator, you will lead trusted, thorough and evidence-based integrity investigations into suspected unethical behaviour, dishonesty, fraud, theft, misuse of company assets, criminal matters affecting the business and complex whistleblowing concerns raised through Sky’s speak-up programme, Sky Listens.
You will manage your own caseload from initial assessment through to findings and recommendations, working closely with HR Investigations, Employee Relations, Legal & Compliance, senior business stakeholders and, where appropriate, law enforcement or external partners. The role requires sound judgement, professional curiosity, discretion and the ability to handle sensitive and often emotive matters with care, confidence and independence.
This role offers broad exposure across Sky, the opportunity to influence balanced decision-making, and a meaningful part in strengthening trust, accountability and ethical standards across the business.
What you’ll do
Lead trusted, thorough and proportionate integrity investigations into suspected unethical behaviour, dishonesty, fraud, theft, misuse of company assets, criminal matters affecting the business and whistleblowing concerns.
Manage investigations end to end, from initial assessment, scoping and planning through to evidence gathering, interviews, findings and debriefs with senior investigators or management.
Gather, review and evaluate evidence from a range of sources, maintaining accurate case files, evidential integrity, confidentiality and system updates in line with company processes and data protection requirements.
Engage sensitively and professionally with investigation participants, business leaders and stakeholders, managing expectations and handling sensitive or emotive matters with care, credibility and discretion.
Produce clear, balanced and evidence-based findings and recommendations that support informed decision-making, corrective action, risk mitigation and stronger standards of business conduct.
Work collaboratively with HR Investigations, Employee Relations, Legal & Compliance, business leaders and external partners, while contributing to shared learning, thematic insight and continuous improvement across the team.
