Design Verification Engineering Intern

Skyworks' Internship Program is designed for college students currently enrolled in an accredited Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD program. Skyworks offers real work experience, exposure to upper management, and the opportunity to pursue full-time opportunities, as available.

• Skyworks' Design Verification Internships are offered in our High Performance Analog, business group. Specific projects and responsibilities will be determined based on the business needs at the time of the internship assignment.

Responsibilities

• Gain experience and working knowledge of pre-silicon design verification for Power Management Integrated Circuits (PMICs).
• Gain in-depth understanding of basic analog building blocks and develop behavior models using SystemVerilog or VerilogAMS
• Gain in-depth understanding of system level use cases and verify the functionality PMICs
• Automate verification tasks where applicable.
• Report and presentation at the end of the internship on the work performed.
• Required Experience and Skills
• Currently pursuing MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering

Minimum GPA of 3.5

The student must have completed course work and show good understanding of analog design and digital circuit design

Familiarity Cadence Virtuoso

Open to learn both analog and digital design fundamentals

Desired Experience and Skills

The typical pay range for an Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $29.00 - $49.00 per hour and for a Non-Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $23.00 - $42.00 per hour. Starting pay will depend on level of education, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location. Skyworks has different pay ranges for different work locations in the U.S.
