Project Manager- QA and Inspections

SME is seeking a Project Manager to join our Steel, Coatings, and Nondestructive Testing (SCN) group to lead project management and provide technical support for fabrication quality assurance (QA) review services for steel and concrete structures. This role focuses on projects performed in fabrication shops on behalf of Michigan counties and cities, in accordance with MDOT requirements. This position is ideal for someone who understands fabrication processes, has experience with QA/QC testing and inspections, is familiar with DOT standards and specifications, is comfortable working directly with clients and fabricators, and can lead technical review work from proposal through final documentation.
