Treasury, Accounting & Earn covers treasury management, accounting automations, controls and approvals, and earn. Both are led by experienced product leaders; you will coordinate the offering, hold them to outcomes and make the trade-offs between them. You need real depth in FX, treasury or financial markets, detailed knowledge of how currency hedging strategies are used to manage treasury, and the judgment to adapt what you have done elsewhere to a company that is still building its product organisation.
What You'll Do Own the number: increase Hedging flow as a share of total payment volume, and coordinate growing balances held, treasury adoption and earn revenue Build the hedging product as an individual contributor in the first phase, taking hedging from pilot to a scaled, commercially repeatable proposition Define the KPI system for the area (conversion, spread and take rate, adoption, retention, balances) and run the operating cadence that forces focus and learning Partner with Treasury and liquidity providers on pricing and spreads, and get within reach of best-in-market rates while protecting unit economics Ship FX intelligence and an agentic advisory layer that helps Finance Directors decide when to act, rather than dashboards that get ignored Shape controls, approvals and accounting automations so that holding and moving money in Sokin fits the way finance teams actually work Lead and develop the Product Directors, Group Product Managers and Product Managers in the area, raising the bar on judgment, craft and pace Create alignment across Product, Engineering, Design, Sales, Treasury and Compliance without consensus theatre, and work with the wider Product Leads on shared journeys Work from Sokin's Jobs to Be Done catalogue: describe the jobs the finance teams, treasurers and controllers in your area and internal users hire your product for, the outcomes that matter, and the evidence behind them, and keep that picture current Position the area to win against tier-1 banks, institutional FX providers and hedging specialists What We're Looking For Proven senior product experience in FX, treasury or financial markets, in a fintech or a financial institution, including leading other product leaders Deep understanding of FX execution: rate engines, spread management, liquidity relationships and wholesale pricing mechanics Experience building, or working closely with, hedging or structured FX products such as forwards and options Commercial fluency in FX margin and treasury economics: you understand what it takes to win and keep flow, including with tier-1 bank relationships A track record of translating complex financial concepts into products that Finance Directors and treasury teams actually use Strong cross-functional leadership across Product, Engineering and Design, and the ability to manage senior stakeholders Comfortable in a scaling business where the product organisation is still being built: hands-on when needed, strategic when it matters Adaptable, not dogmatic: you do not assume your old playbook is the right one here, and you ask why before applying solutions Ruthlessly prioritising, outcome-focused, collaborative but opinionated Nice to have: familiarity with agentic or data-driven advisory products, understanding of stablecoin on and off-ramps in a regulated context, and experience in earn or yield products Curious and inquisitive: you ask why before you build, dig into the data and the customer's real situation, follow questions past the first answer, and are never satisfied with 'that's how it has always been done'.
Comfortable using AI in your role: you use AI tools as a matter of course to research, draft, analyse and prototype at speed, and you stay fully accountable for the result. AI is a tool that sharpens your judgement and never replaces it: you check what it gives you, and the thinking stays yours. Please note, candidates will need to have the right to work in the jurisdiction that they are looking to work in. Sokin is an equal opportunities employer and committed to maintaining an inclusive work environment.
As a growing global startup with bases across multiple countries, we were established on and continue to promote an agile, flexible working culture. Please reach out to discuss any accommodations you may require during the recruitment process.
