Job Description Summary
The Senior Project Accountant III is an advanced project accounting professional who serves as a subject matter expert and functional resource for the Project Accounting organization. In addition to independently managing complex project accounting responsibilities, this role provides advanced accounting guidance, supports complex audit and accounting matters, and drives department-wide process improvements, standardization, automation, and control enhancements.
The position provides mentoring, training, and functional guidance to other Project Accountants, while remaining an advanced individual contributor role without direct responsibility for employee performance management, overall workload allocation, or final department approvals.
This role can be based full-time in our office in San Diego, CA or remote located in Pacific time zone. Specific location details and expectations will be discussed during the interview process.
