Alpha Implementations - Business Integration- Assistant Vice President

Who we are looking for

State Street Alpha Implementations is seeking an experienced Assistant Vice President to lead a team of India-based Business Integration Support Analysts that will support global Alpha implementations.

The role combines people leadership, capability development, Command Centre delivery along with planning and execution support to global Business Integration Leads across key phases of implementation programs. The successful candidate will build and manage a high-performing India team that provides consistent support across implementation planning, readiness, Day In The Life, Production Parallel, go-live and hypercare. It will establish disciplined controls, reliable management reporting and effective coordination across global teams.

The successful candidate will work closely with global Business Integration delivery and practice leads to ensure consistent delivery and high-quality outcomes. The candidate should have strong experience in financial-services implementations, Project Management, production-event coordination and team leadership. They must be able to operate effectively across global teams, manage competing priorities and maintain structure during complex or high-pressure delivery events.

What you will be responsible for

Lead and develop the India team

• Manage, coach and develop Business Integration Support Analysts in India, setting clear expectations for quality, ownership, collaboration and delivery discipline.
• Build structured onboarding, training and knowledge-transfer plans so analysts can progressively take on greater responsibility across Business Integration activities.
• Allocate work across programs based on priority, capacity, experience and development needs; monitor delivery and address performance or capability gaps promptly.
• Develop team capability in runbook creation, Command Centre procedures, implementation planning, dependency management, Issue management, governance and executive reporting.

Own delivery quality and methodology

• Support Business Integration scope, including business readiness, DITL, production parallel, cutover readiness, command centre support and hypercare, as applicable to each program.
• Ensure analysts follow established Business Integration standards, playbooks, governance and reporting expectations, while applying appropriate judgment to the needs of each implementation.
• Capture lessons learned and partner with practice leads to improve methodology, templates, training materials and reusable assets.
• Provide clear management information on capacity, program coverage, delivery status, risks, dependencies and emerging constraints.

Education and preferred qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant experience in financial services, preferably in asset management, investment operations, middle office, custody or front-to-back transformation.
• Demonstrated experience leading, coaching or managing analysts or delivery teams, including work allocation, quality oversight and capability development.
• Strong implementation, onboarding, business analysis or project management experience within complex, multi-workstream programs.
• Working knowledge of target operating models, operational readiness, data and configuration dependencies, testing, cutover and production transition activities.
• Experience engaging clients, senior management, business teams, technology teams, vendors and third parties.
• Ability to travel or support critical program events outside standard local hours when required.
• Bachelor's degree; MBA is highly preferred; relevant project management, business analysis or financial-services qualifications are beneficial.
