Business Solutions is a department within the HW Fisher organisation providing a “one-stop shop” for SMEs and owner managed businesses, as well as individuals, including personal and corporate tax, accounting, and VAT functions. The department looks after a range of clients in various sectors, though there is a particular interest within the authors and journalists and sports sectors. Our Sports Group sits within the Business Solutions department and advises a growing portfolio of professional athletes (including many footballers), coaches, agents and other individuals working across the sports sector.
The team supports clients with their UK personal tax compliance and wider tax affairs. The Role: We are looking for an enthusiastic Personal Tax Senior to join the Sports Group within the Business Solutions department. The candidate will be ATT part or fully qualified with 3–4 years’ personal tax experience. They will take day-to-day responsibility for a portfolio of 180 sports clients, preparing personal tax returns, managing compliance deadlines and liaising directly with clients and their advisers.
The candidate will work closely with experienced colleagues contributing to advisory assignments and will also support junior colleagues. Full support may be given by the firm towards a relevant professional qualification, such as CTA.
