Overview
We are seeking an experienced Technology Risk and Controls Analyst to join Susquehanna's Dublin Technology Risk team.
Working with technology and business teams, you will help identify and assess risks, strengthen controls and deliver practical improvements. You will contribute across a varied portfolio of reviews, projects and ongoing activities, adapting as priorities and business needs evolve.
We are looking for someone who is curious, practical and comfortable tackling unfamiliar problems. You should enjoy learning how things work, making sense of incomplete information and working with others to find solutions. Strong judgement, clear communication and the ability to take ownership and follow through are central to the role.
You will work closely with experienced technology teams in a trading environment, take ownership of meaningful risk work and have the opportunity to improve how the team operates. The variety of assignments will allow you to apply your existing strengths and broaden your experience.
What you will do
Assess technology risks. Review applications, infrastructure and operational processes to understand potential business impacts, evaluate existing safeguards and recommend proportionate improvements. Contribute to risk and control self-assessments and keep assigned risk records current.
Review controls and evidence. Assess control design and evidence of operation, identify gaps and document clear findings. Carry out assigned technology and trading application reviews, support audit requests and work with owners to improve evidence quality.
Drive remediation and reporting. Agree actions, owners and target dates with technical teams, assess completion evidence and escalate material issues. Prepare accurate risk reports and key risk indicators that explain progress, emerging concerns and decisions required.
Support resilience and lifecycle improvements. Contribute to business continuity exercises, application load and resilience testing, incident follow-up and technology lifecycle reviews. Use findings and operational data to identify dependencies, unsupported technology and other exposures, then track agreed improvements.
Improve processes and tools. Help refine risk workflows, dashboards and evidence collection. Define requirements, test changes and use data analysis, automation and AI tools to reduce repetitive work while validating the results.
Contribute across the team's priorities. Support policy and procedure reviews, risk awareness activities and assessments of emerging technologies. Work with colleagues and specialists on new assignments, applying sound judgement as requirements evolve.
You will manage an agreed portfolio within the first line, working with control owners and partnering with second-line Risk, Compliance and Audit. The Technology Risk Manager will support prioritisation and significant escalations; material risk acceptance and formal approvals will follow established responsibilities.
