Position Overview
This position will support contracts and category management for lab products and services.
Responsible for developing and executing against cost containment and performance improvement opportunities for goods and services utilized across Sutter Health. With expertise in purchasing strategies, this position is responsible for defining and implementing a clear strategy to optimize the total cost of ownership, including sourcing of products and services as well as product, service, and/or vendor standardization.
Collaborates and influences a team of contracting, value analysis, and analytic resources to drive impact for the assigned segments of spend. Interfaces with a variety of high-level clinical and Sutter Health leadership, as well as external resources from the vendor community.
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business/Healthcare Administration or related field.
