ABOUT US
At Talbot & Associates (T&A), we’re not your typical accounting firm. Founded in Manitoba in 1991 and expanding our services into Ontario in 2024, we’ve been supporting clients with trusted expertise for over 30 years. We are a bilingual (French/English) team of more than 90+ team members who value collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and a strong sense of community. We believe work should be both meaningful and rewarding, and we take pride in helping our team members live their dreams, whether that’s advancing in their career, developing new skills, or simply enjoying life outside of work.
We’re excited to welcome a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team in a full-time, permanent role. If you’re looking for a positive workplace, and the chance to make a real impact every day, this is the perfect opportunity.
This mid-level position is ideal for individuals with foundational accounting knowledge and a few years of experience in public practice who are eager to build their careers in public practice accounting. You will work closely with senior team members to maintain accurate financial records, ensure timely processing of transactions, and assist in financial reporting and analysis. The ideal candidate is a proactive learner, highly organized, and excited to contribute to a team that values accuracy, integrity, and continuous improvement.
This is a hands-on role that will give you exposure to a wide range of accounting functions, including accounts payable and receivable, reconciliations, month-end processes, tax planning and more. It’s a great opportunity to apply your education, grow your technical skills, and gain experience in a supportive environment where mentorship and professional development are encouraged. Whether you're pursuing your CPA designation or simply looking to gain experience in a thriving and collaborative workplace, this role offers the foundation to launch your career in accounting.
