Job Overview
Manages experienced sourcing professionals and/or supervisors, overseeing complex sourcing initiatives and supplier strategies. Drives cost savings, risk mitigation, and supplier performance improvements across categories or regions.
Job Requirements
- Managing strategic sourcing initiatives and measuring effectiveness against KPIs.
- Aligning sourcing priorities with business needs and category strategies.
- Leading supplier selection, negotiations, and risk assessments for key vendors.
- Driving compliance with sourcing governance, regulatory, and ethical standards.
- Identifying cost reduction and productivity opportunities through market and supplier analysis.
- Developing team capabilities and guiding execution of complex sourcing projects.
What your background should look like
Generally requires Bachelors degree in appropriate field with 12 or more years of experience; or Masters degree with 10 or more years of experience; or PhD level with 6 or more years of experience; or local equivalent
