Telespazio Belgium has an on‑site service at ESTEC in the Netherlands, and we are looking for a highly skilled Liferay Engineer to work there.

What is expected from you

• The successful applicant will be responsible for providing both technical coordination and engineering support for the PRoS Project and the SCO-12 (Science and Operations IT, Projects and Applications work area at ESAC) Portal Platform activities.
• The role combines project coordination responsibilities with hands-on portal engineering and development activities, requiring strong technical leadership, stakeholder management, and software engineering expertise.
• Technical project coordination and stakeholder management.
• Project planning, monitoring, reporting, and risk management.
• Requirements analysis and technical solution definition.
• Agile delivery methodologies and practices.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to bridge technical and managerial aspects of projects.

What you offer

• Master's degree or equivalent qualification in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Space Systems Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Proven experience in technical project coordination, project management, or technical leadership roles.
• Proven experience in enterprise web application development and portal technologies.

Where

You will be working within ESTEC, the European Space Agency’s offices in the Netherlands as a contractor for Telespazio Belgium. We don’t expect the employees to be on-site full time however you will still have to relocate to the Netherlands for this position.
