Why this role?

We’re looking for a Commercial Executive to join our Home & Pet Product Team, playing a key role in supporting the effective delivery of our commercial and operational priorities.

You’ll be a central part of the team, bringing coordination, structure and governance across a wide range of activities. Working with multiple stakeholders, you’ll help bring clarity to processes, track performance and support the delivery of key initiatives, while enabling senior colleagues to focus on strategic and value-driving activity.

With broad exposure across commercial activity, governance, product management and performance reporting, this is a great opportunity for someone who is highly organised, analytical and keen to develop their career.

What you’ll be doing

  • Providing day-to-day operational and coordination support to the commercial product team, ensuring information and documentation is well organised, up to date and easily accessible.
  • Analysing data from multiple sources to identify trends, track performance and highlight opportunities across trade, conduct and risk KPIs, while supporting product management through business cases, new initiatives, process improvements and reporting.
  • Coordinating team activities and governance forums, including scheduling meetings, producing high-quality minutes, maintaining central action logs and ensuring stakeholders have clear visibility of progress, commitments and risks.
  • Supporting governance and control processes by logging and tracking risks and incidents, maintaining accurate records and ensuring activity is aligned with wider frameworks.
  • Managing instances of non-compliance with policies, procedures and regulatory requirements, working with internal teams and external suppliers to resolve issues effectively.
  • Producing high-quality presentations, reports and meeting materials, supporting purchase order management, and identifying opportunities to improve processes, enhance efficiency and strengthen overall delivery across the function.

What we’re looking for: (minimum criteria)

  • Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise independently, manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and maintain excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • A proactive and curious approach, with the confidence to take ownership and drive tasks through to completion, alongside strong problem-solving skills and the ability to critically analyse data to identify trends and patterns.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, with experience analysing data and turning it into clear, insightful reports and presentations.
  • Confidence working with stakeholders to coordinate activity and ensure actions and commitments are delivered, alongside an understanding of governance, risk or control processes and product lifecycle or risk management processes, or the ability to quickly build your knowledge in these areas.

And if you have any of these, even better

  • Power BI experience.
  • Previous experience of General Insurance products.

We welcome applications from everyone. If you’re excited about this role but your experience doesn’t align perfectly with every requirement, we’d still love to hear from you.

What’s in it for you

  • A generous pension, with up to 7.5% employer contribution, depending on what you put in.
  • Private Medical Insurance (WL2+) and virtual GP Service for you and your family
  • Performance related annual bonus.
  • 7.2 weeks holiday, with the opportunity to buy more.
  • Colleague Clubcard discount (10-15% + second card to share with someone else).
  • Enhanced parental leave.
  • Opportunities to Save and Buy as you earn.
  • A place to get on - take advantage of our ongoing learning opportunities to help you achieve the job and career you want.
