Staff Technical Program Manager, Network Builds

We are seeking a Technical Program Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of new network infrastructure builds. This role combines strong program leadership with solid network engineering expertise. You will drive complex network build programs from planning through execution and handover, while staying closely engaged in the technical design, validation, and deployment activities required for successful delivery. Own the full lifecycle of new network build programs, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure Develop and maintain program plans, schedules, budgets, resource plans, and risk/issue registers Coordinate cross-functional teams across network engineering, field operations, construction, procurement, vendors, and key stakeholders Identify, assess, and mitigate technical, schedule, and cost risks associated with network builds Manage vendor and contractor performance for network construction, equipment installation, and testing Ensure alignment with architecture standards, security requirements, and operational readiness criteria Facilitate technical design & build reviews, approvals, and go/no-go decisions for network cutovers and handovers to support team Support lab and field testing, acceptance testing, and troubleshooting during new network deployments Assist with configuration standards, Bill of Materials (BOM) validation, and technical specifications Participate in root-cause analysis for issues discovered during build or commissioning phases Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience 10+ years of experience in technical program/project management with a strong foundation in network engineering Proven track record leading complex network infrastructure or telecom build programs (campus, data center, WAN, or service-provider environments) Solid understanding of networking fundamentals: routing, switching, IP addressing, VLANs, QoS, high availability, and network security principles Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and cross-functional leadership skills Ability to balance program oversight with hands-on technical engagement PMP, PgMP, or equivalent program/project management certification.

Networking certifications such as CCNP, CCIE JNCIP, JNCIE or equivalent. Managers levels) Expected Compensation $96,000 - $384,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
