Tesla is looking for an experienced Data Analyst to join our EMEA Business Analytics team in Amsterdam. The team develops data products, models and analytics, that support the day-to-day and long-term planning of the sales, delivery, and supply chain organization. You'll be a data partner to the business teams. You'll learn how the work actually happens on the ground, turn it into scalable solutions that leadership and local teams can use without a translation layer.
You'll also help build the next generation of data apps and AI agents that put answers directly in the hands of our teams, and keep improving the way we make decisions with data. Build and own scalable reports and data products that central and local teams use to measure performance and take action. Act as a trusted data partner to business and operations managers. Learn the process, the constraints and the decisions, then bring the right information to the table.
Turn large operational datasets into clear views of business performance, and find the bottlenecks behind the numbers. Work with systems and business teams to improve how the business runs, and measure the impact of changes on speed, cost and capacity. Build data apps, AI agents and AI-powered tools (e.g. with Python, Streamlit and Tesla's in-house tools) that give teams answers in seconds instead of waiting for a report.
Own the definitions and testing that keep those answers accurate. Build and maintain the queries, models and pipelines behind these products, using SQL, Python, Tableau and Tesla's reporting stack. Give leadership fast and reliable analysis and recommendations. Experience in analytics, business intelligence or a similar data role. Proven experience working closely with a hands-on business, and the ability to learn a new domain quickly.
A track record of measurable value from data, such as operational improvements or cost savings. Strong SQL and working Python. You're comfortable building the analysis and the tools yourself, end to end. Experience with Tableau, Power BI or a similar visualisation platform. Experience with operations, logistics or supply chain data is a plus. Hands-on experience with LLMs, AI coding assistants or building data apps (e.g.
Streamlit) is a strong plus. Clear written and verbal communication in English, and the ability to explain technical work simply to anyone from local teams to leadership. Comfortable working independently and with stakeholders across countries and functions, including during end-of-quarter peaks.
