What You'll Do
- Source and qualify vendors, and negotiate contracts, payment terms, and OEM and formula pricing
- Manage purchase orders and supply chain activity from request to delivery
- Serve as the purchasing point of contact for your assigned business divisions
- Implement VMI programs and manage RTV items
- Partner with Engineering, Operations, Quality, Accounting, and Production to keep projects on schedule
What You Bring
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree
- 5+ years as a Buyer in a manufacturing environment
- ***Experience with made to print, Engineered and machined parts required
- Strong communication skills, MS Office proficiency, Excel and ERP experience
- Understanding of MRP planning, and basic familiarity with drawings and specifications
- Organized, detail-oriented, and calm under pressure
- Must live within a reasonable commute of Mason, OH and be willing to work onsite 40+ hours/week
