The Kraft Heinz Company Manufacturing

FP&A Analyst

Amsterdam, The Netherlands Hybrid Full-time

We have an excellent opportunity available for a driven financial analyst to make a difference at Kraft Heinz. The FP&A Analyst role lies within the Zone FP&A team of Europe and Pacific Developed Markets (EPDM). You'll be working in a high performing team, alongside peers always trying to reach the next level. You'll be reporting to an FP&A Manager within the Zone FP&A team. Get ready for a lot of exposure to internal senior stakeholders - the numbers you produce are read every month by the Zone CFO and the Zone President.

The delivery of the Zone's actuals, forecasts and fixed cost agenda will be your primary responsibility. This is an ideal first or second step in a finance career: you will learn the full planning cycle, from monthly close through to the annual budget, and you're constantly looking for improvement activities within FP&A.

In brief, you are responsible for

  • Support the monthly close for the Zone: prepare and validate the actuals to tight deadlines, giving Finance leadership an early and reliable read on results.
  • Analyse cost and performance across the Zone, including overheads managed under the Zero Base Budgeting (ZBB) methodology, working with budget owners to explain variances and challenge spend.
  • Consolidate the monthly forecast across markets, partnering with the country Finance teams to ensure consistency of submissions and to flag risks and opportunities early.
  • Contribute to the annual planning cycle, supporting the preparation of the annual budget and the three-year strategic plan, and building the analysis that underpins the Zone's targets.
  • Prepare monthly performance reviews and executive presentations for Zone leadership, turning the numbers into a clear and simple story.
  • Contribute to a global finance systems transformation, supporting master data and reporting structures so that the Zone works from a single source of truth rather than reconciling in the reporting layer.
  • Look for a better way of working: evaluate FP&A routines and propose simplification and automation that free up time for analysis.

Qualifications

  • Please kindly note that you need to have an EU Working Permit (Orientation Year Visa not included) in order to proceed for this position.

  • Fluent in English; an additional European language is a plus
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills, and comfortable working with large data sets
  • Exposure to SAP and Power BI is a plus, and an appetite to learn new systems quickly is essential
  • Discipline and routine-driven - this role runs to a fixed monthly calendar where deadlines are non-negotiable
  • Analytical mindset, proactive, and able to work with multiple stakeholders at all levels of seniority.
