TMC Transportation has an immediate full-time opening for a Field Recruiter working out of our Midwest territory (IA, KS, MN, MO, NE, WI).

PRIMARY FUNCTION

The primary function of a Field Recruiter is to develop and maintain recruiting sources within a designated geographic territory and deliver quality applications for over the road driving positions.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Location: Midwest 80% travel required within designated territory

Develop and maintain a network of contacts with commercial driving schools to identify and source quality applicants

Conduct presentations face to face and virtually to connect with perspective hires and capture leads for open positions

Maintain working knowledge of open job requisitions to include duties, qualifications, and skills needed for hire in assigned territory

Proactively work to source new channels to attract candidates for hire

Keep accurate records throughout the recruitment cycle to include weekly schedule, leads, and application follow up

Contact and engage with potential candidates throughout the recruitment cycle

Collaborate with Recruiting team members to facilitate the application process

undefinedMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:2 years experience in recruiting or sales required.Associates Degree or Bachelors, preferably in Transportation or Human Resources; or equivalent work experience requiredKnowledge of the transportation industry preferredAbility to speak and be influential to potential candidatesMust possess excellent written and oral communicationMust possess strong presentation skillsMust possess a working knowledge of computer applications; Microsoft OfficeMust be able to travel as an essential function of the jobMust have a valid driver’s licenseMust be able to work autonomouslyy
