The Function & Team

Triple Point Specialty Finance provides revolving credit facility (RCF) warehouse funding to UK alternative lenders, supplying liquidity and capital to parts of the non-bank lending market that might otherwise be underserved. It is a fast-growing division within Triple Point Private Credit, currently building out new capabilities including Forward Flow, mezzanine and incubator strategies.

This is a strong entry point for an early-career candidate with a structured finance, credit or capital markets interest to gain genuine, end-to-end exposure to asset-based finance, from origination and structuring through to Credit Committee and legal completion.

Key Responsibilities& The Role

As an Origination Analyst, you will provide execution support across the full deal lifecycle, working closely with our Origination Directors and the wider Specialty Finance team to source, assess and deliver new lending transactions. You will analyse prospective borrowers, help prepare the materials that take a deal to Credit Committee, and support the documentation and onboarding that bring facilities to completion.

The role is varied and genuinely developmental: you will work alongside experienced originators, build a grounding in credit and structuring, and contribute to a team that is actively shaping where Specialty Finance goes next, including its data analytics, rather than simply executing what is already established. It is an ideal platform for someone looking to build a career in private credit.

Deal Execution Support: Support the Origination Directors with the assessment and execution of new lending transactions, working towards the team's origination targets across the deal lifecycle.

Financial & Credit Analysis: Analyse borrowers' financial models, loan tapes, borrowing-base reports and company accounts; run scenario sensitivities; and prepare financial spreads to assess borrower, obligor and guarantor credit quality.

Market & Company Analysis: Conduct company, industry and market research to support the team's view on new opportunities and the UK Specialty Finance and asset-backed markets.

Transaction Preparation & Documentation: Prepare NDAs and initial term sheets; review client files and virtual data rooms; build credit papers, transaction checklists and reporting templates; and support the end-to-end documentation for new facilities alongside legal counsel.

Credit & Compliance Support: Support the preparation of Credit Committee materials, and carry out KYC/AML and adverse-media searches, keeping them current as required.

Meetings & Relationships: Participate in calls and meetings with borrowers, management teams, advisers and private equity sponsors; take and circulate clear notes and actions.

Onboarding & Portfolio Support: Ensure a smooth handover of new facilities to the Relationship Support Team (RST); provide drawdown cover and initial post-close onboarding; and support portfolio accordions and upsizes where required.

Data & Analytics: Maintain accurate, timely data capture in internal systems, and support the team's data, analytics and Forward Flow programme as it develops.

Experience

  • Analytical Foundation: Ability to read and analyse company financial accounts and management information, with confident numeracy and sound commercial judgement.
  • Financial Modelling: Strong financial modelling and Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Experience: Experience in credit, banking, private equity, debt capital markets or a related finance environment is desirable. Experience in the finance sector or with SMEs is advantageous but not essential.
  • Education: Educated to degree level, ideally supported by (or working towards) a professional qualification in accountancy, banking or risk management, though this is not a prerequisite.

Personal Qualities

  • Highly numerate, with a solid academic background or equivalent experience.
  • Precision and strong attention to detail.
  • Well organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines.
  • A team player who can proactively manage stakeholders, and who is discreet with confidential information.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable and open to new ideas, with a genuine commitment to continuous learning.
  • Integrity and honesty.
  • How You'll Work — Our Values in Action
  • Stay Curious: You ask questions that improve how we work, and take a genuine interest in borrowers, markets and the mechanics of each transaction.
  • Be Generous: You share information openly, support your colleagues, and help the team operate smoothly under pressure.
  • Thoughtful Action: You are precise and risk-aware, spotting issues and pain points early and getting the detail right.
  • Pull Together: You collaborate across Credit, RST and the origination team, stepping in where you can be useful.
  • Own It: You take responsibility for your work and see tasks through to completion, with reliability and care.
