Business Analyst (AI & Enterprise Technology)

About the Role

Turium AI is looking for an ICT Business Analyst to join our Hyderabad team and support AI, enterprise technology and digital transformation projects across India and Australia.

This opportunity is suited to an early-career Business Analyst or technology professional with experience in business analysis, software development, consulting, data or enterprise systems.

We are looking for someone with strong analytical and problem-solving skills who can understand business requirements, translate them into clear technical and functional documentation, and work effectively with both business stakeholders and technical teams.

You will work across Turium AI's products, including Turium Algoreus, Turium Enigma and Turium Zebra, supporting solutions delivered to government, councils and enterprise customers.

You will collaborate closely with our consulting, engineering and product teams in Hyderabad and Australia, contributing to the design, development and delivery of innovative technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyse and document business and functional requirements for software, AI and enterprise technology projects.
• Map current-state and future-state business processes, workflows and system interactions.
• Work with business stakeholders and clients to understand operational challenges, business objectives and technology requirements.
• Facilitate and support requirements gathering workshops, stakeholder meetings and project discussions.
• Translate business requirements into user stories, functional specifications, acceptance criteria and solution documentation.
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, engineers and consultants to support solution design, development and implementation.
• Prepare Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirements Documents (FRDs), process flows and other project documentation.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), test case preparation, defect tracking and requirements validation.
• Analyse business processes and data to identify opportunities for automation, operational improvements and digital transformation.
• Document AI solution workflows, functional requirements, use cases and expected business outcomes.
• Support validation and UAT of AI-powered applications, including response accuracy, functionality, usability and alignment with business requirements.
• Participate in Agile delivery activities, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, demonstrations and retrospectives.
• Prepare business cases, solution summaries, reports, presentations and client-facing documentation.
• Support project delivery across AI, ERP, software development and enterprise technology environments.
• Work with teams across Hyderabad and Australia to coordinate requirements, clarify dependencies and support project milestones.
• Develop an understanding of enterprise platforms, including SAP, TechnologyOne, Microsoft Dynamics and other corporate systems.
• Contribute to tender responses, proposals, solution demonstrations and customer presentations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in information systems, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Business Administration, Engineering or a related discipline.
• 1–5 years of professional experience in business analysis, software development, IT consulting, enterprise systems, data analysis or technology project delivery.
• Experience gathering, analysing and documenting business and functional requirements.
• Understanding of business process mapping, workflows, functional specifications and user stories.
• Ability to translate business needs into clear technical requirements and actionable deliverables.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience collaborating with developers, testers, product managers and project delivery teams.
• Understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC), Agile methodologies and project delivery processes.
• Basic understanding of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Understanding of AI application workflows, prompt engineering concepts, AI use cases and business process automation.
• Strong documentation skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently and collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to work closely with Australian stakeholders and accommodate project collaboration requirements across time zones.

Highly Desirable

• Experience with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps or similar project management and requirements-tracking tools.
• Knowledge of SQL, Power BI, Python, Excel or other data analysis and reporting tools.
• Experience with business process modelling, BPMN, flowcharts or workflow documentation.
• Exposure to ERP or enterprise platforms such as SAP, TechnologyOne, Microsoft Dynamics or Oracle.
• Experience supporting UAT, test planning, acceptance criteria and defect management.
• Familiarity with AI-powered applications, automation, APIs, system integrations or SaaS products.
• Experience working with international clients, particularly Australian customers.
• Exposure to consulting, systems integration or enterprise digital transformation projects.
• Experience evaluating AI outputs, testing AI workflows and documenting AI application requirements.
• Knowledge of AI-powered automation tools, intelligent assistants and AI-enabled enterprise applications.
