We’re seeking a Specialist, Infrastructure Solution Engineer to join our Infrastructure Solutions team in Jersey City, NJ

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:

Learn and contribute to cloud infrastructure automation using Terraform,AzureResourceManager(ARM),andInfrastructureasCode(IaC) frameworks under the guidance of senior engineers.

Write clean, maintainable code in PythonorJava, leveraging AI-assisted development tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, or Devin to accelerate learning and productivity.

Support the deployment and operation of cloud services including AKS(Kubernetes),serverlessfunctions,webplatforms,andmanageddatabases across Azure, AWS, and GCP.

Participate in the full SoftwareDevelopmentLifecycle(SDLC) — from design and development through testing, CI/CD pipelines, deployment, and post-production monitoring.

Collaborate with Security, IAM, Networking, and Architecture teams to build solutions that meet enterprise compliance and identity standards.

Contribute to clear, well-structured technicaldocumentation that enables operational excellence and knowledge sharing across teams.

Stay curious — actively explore emerging cloud technologies, tools, and industry best practices to grow your skills and contribute fresh ideas to the team.

Assist in building and improving internal cloudtooling,dashboards,andself-serviceplatforms that engineering teams across BNY rely on daily.

To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

Foundational understanding of at least one programming language — PythonorJava preferred.

Basic familiarity with cloudconcepts — compute, storage, networking, containers, or serverless — through coursework, labs, certifications, or self-study

Exposure to versioncontrol (Git/GitHub/GitLab) and collaborative software development workflows.

Genuine curiosity about cloud infrastructure, automation, and the engineering behind large-scale distributed systems

Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and written communication skills.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and proactively ask questions.
