To support our growth, EXP is currently looking for a CAD Applications Specialist to join our IT Design Systems team. You will play a key role in optimizing our design technologies and provide advanced technical support across AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC)/Autodesk Forma, while contributing to application configuration and deployment, workflow optimization, and continuous improvement of our design processes.

More than a traditional support role, this opportunity will allow you to apply your expertise to support thousands of engineering professionals, working closely with design and IT teams across North America. As a result, the ability to communicate fluently in both French and English, verbally and in writing, is essential to effectively collaborate with colleagues and internal partners across the organization. Combining our local presence with our global expertise, EXP has 28 offices across Quebec.

What a day at EXP has in store for you

Technical Expertise and Design Team Support

Provide advanced technical support for AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC)/Autodesk Forma, including troubleshooting complex issues.

Help design teams optimize tools and solutions based on their needs.

Partner with engineering and IT teams to improve design workflows and address technology-related challenges.

Administration, Deployment and Improvement

Configure, maintain, and deploy design applications, including AutoCAD and Civil 3D.

Develop and optimize CAD/BIM standards, templates, and configurations.

Improve and automate design workflows to enhance team efficiency.

Training and Knowledge Sharing

Develop and maintain technical documentation and user guides.

Train and support users to promote best practices, knowledge sharing, and greater self-sufficiency.

What your qualifications and experience look like

Significant experience supporting, configuring, and optimizing CAD solutions, ideally within a multidisciplinary engineering or design environment.

Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC)/Autodesk Forma, including configuration and customization.

Good understanding of IT environments, including operating systems, workstations, servers, and networks.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and support users at various skill levels.

College diploma, university degree, professional certification in a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Ability to communicate fluently in French and English, both written and spoken, to collaborate regularly with colleagues and internal partners across North America.

Beyond your technical expertise, you are service-oriented, proactive, and collaborative, with a strong ability to understand user needs, deliver practical solutions, and share your knowledge.

Knowledge of Autodesk Revit and Bentley applications.

Experience with CAD automation and the development of CAD/BIM standards, templates, and best practices.

Experience training and supporting users, ideally within an engineering consulting environment.
