  • Use people data and insights to spot trends, risks, and opportunities, and bring clear recommendations to leaders.
  • Represent the Bangalore site in global HR forums so local needs shape broader programs.

Talent Strategy & Development

  • Lead talent reviews, succession planning, and calibration, building strong pipelines for critical roles.
  • Find and develop high-potential talent, and partner with leaders on development plans, career paths, and retention.
  • Drive annual performance and rewards processes, including goal setting, reviews, and merit planning, and coach managers through each cycle.
  • Build manager and leader capability through coaching, targeted development, and consistent leadership expectations.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition on workforce planning, hiring strategy, and building a strong employer brand in the Bangalore market.

Employee Relations & Compliance

  • Manage employee relations matters fairly and consistently, from investigation through resolution.
  • Keep HR policies and practices compliant with India labor laws and aligned with Fortive and OpCo standards.
  • Support policy changes and their rollout, keeping the employee impact in mind.

Engagement, Culture & Onboarding

  • Pick up on colleague sentiment and team dynamics early, and partner with leaders on engagement and retention.
  • Build a culture of belonging and connection to Provation, FHS, and Fortive values.
  • Shape an onsite onboarding experience that complements global and OpCo programs and helps new hires get productive quickly.

HR Operations & Continuous Improvement

Make sure core HR processes run smoothly at the site level, in partnership with the HR COEs and shared services.

Use Fortive Business System (FBS) tools to improve HR processes, the colleague experience, and outcomes.

  • Strong working knowledge of India labor law and employee relations.
  • A track record of influencing and coaching senior leaders, including without direct authority.
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort using data to drive decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to lead through ambiguity.

Preferred

  • MBA or Master’s in Human Resources.
  • Experience supporting technology, software, or healthcare businesses.
  • Experience with global or regional HR models and supporting multiple business units from one site.
  • Exposure to the broader APAC region and to supporting teams across time zones.
