Sales Operations Specialist

Position: Sales Operations Specialist - Federal

Objective

The primary responsibility of this role is to provide administration and operations support for Fortinet Federals customer base. The Specialist interacts with other departments within Fortinet Federal to ensure that the sales department needs are met, including Order Management, Distribution, Finance, customer support, etc. As well as working with internal management to address forecasting, commissions, and customer satisfaction inquiries.

• Able to identify and analyze problems and resolve them within the scope of their ability and authority; involves supervisor, other team members, technical support staff or other Fortinet Federal departments as appropriate.
• Perform all job functions with a positive, professional attitude.

• Review and analyze sales data for commission payments.
• Build custom Salesforce reports/dashboards as needed.
• Assist order management team as needed.

Required Skills

• 3-5 years of experience in Sales Operations
• 3 years of Oracle order management experience.
• Strong computer skills with advanced skills in Excel.
• Experience with processing sales commissions a plus.
• Demonstrated ability and willingness to take initiative in dealing with and resolving problems.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure and prioritize tasks.
• Flexibility to adapt to constant change.
• Excellent communication and Inter-departmental skills.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain poise under stress and to respond quickly, logically, and patiently to questions or requests.
• Self-starter with demonstrated ability to work independently in a team environment.
• Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated by delivering clear, correct, and timely communications and effectively working with others.
