IT GENERALIST/ Java application developer

• PLEASE NOTE THIS POSITION IS A SHIFT ROLE: Tues - Sat, 5:00AM - 1:30PM ET
• 2+ years of application and infrastructure experience
• 2+ years of hands on experience with a shell scripting language such as bash or Perl

• years of Strong support skills in middleware technologies (WebLogic,
• Web Methods, Apache, Tomcat, MQ, IIS, etc.) in UNIX and/or Windows
• environment
• Basic hands-on knowledge of Java, JEE, JSF, JPA, JSP, Web Services, HTML, XML, JDBC, SQL, OOA and OOD concepts

Bachelor's

• degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology,
• related field or equivalent work experience, or be in process of
• achieving college degree
• Basic knowledge of or experience with one
• or more databases (Sybase, DB2, SQL Server, Oracle) and security

(firewall, AD, TAM, LDAP)

Basic proficiency with Java-based technologies

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience with Remedy or Service Now
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask; can set priorities and follow a timeline
• Strong decision making and problem solving skills
• Sound interpersonal and team working skills
