Index Production Coordinator

Purpose of the role

The Index Production Coordinator owns the launch process for every new index, from approved and backtested design to public dissemination. The role exists because the volume and complexity of launches now require a dedicated coordinator rather than a shared responsibility. Once filled, Index Operations receives complete documentation and inputs on day one, and every internal team knows where each launch stands.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and handover index maintenance documentation to index operations team
• Write index methodology guides using TexStudio and present to compliance
• Handover index launch templates to calculation partners
• Communicate progress in index launch process across all internal stakeholders
• Create and improve modes of communication and processes using programs like Jira and Confluence
• Assist index research analysts in development of new equity and fixed income indexes
• Required qualifications
• Effective communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with hard deadlines
• Knowledge of the indexing industry and index methodology
• Preferred qualifications.
• Prior experience in a project management or index operations role.
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and LaTeX tools such as TexStudio.
