Visa is searching for a Senior Manager, Data Science & Analytics - Global Marketing Services to build and own the data and intelligence layer for Marketing Services’ AI solutions and agents. This role spans analytics and data science, combining deep analytical skills with AI data readiness expertise to convert VisaNet transaction data, client profile data, and market context into ranked, actionable growth opportunities. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable conducting exploratory analysis to frame business opportunities and building the predictive models and data structures that make those opportunities actionable at scale.

This role will be part of the AI Transformation team within the Global Marketing Services organization. The Senior Manager will assess, structure, and prepare data assets for AI consumption, design the analytical frameworks and models that power opportunity detection and sizing, and own the opportunity scoring framework that surfaces ranked recommendations to business development teams. The role requires someone who can evaluate data readiness across multiple sources, identify gaps and quality issues, define the data preparation and enrichment needed to make content AI-ready, and then build the models that turn that data into intelligence.

The role requires a leader who can work across the full spectrum, from data assessment and readiness through analysis, model development, and stakeholder communication. It demands comfort navigating raw, messy, and fragmented data environments, building the structure and pipelines that make data usable by AI systems, and translating analytical outputs into clear business recommendations.

Reporting to the Senior Director, AI Transformation, Global Marketing Services, this leader will partner with Visa Consulting & Analytics (VCA), Global Insights & Analytics, Marketing Services regional teams, Visa Technology teams, and cross-functional partners across Finance, Legal, Privacy, Risk, and Compliance to build data solutions for the intelligence layer and ensure data foundations are AI-ready.

Key Responsibilities

Own the data and intelligence layer for AI solutions and agents: Design and build the end-to-end analytical solution that converts raw data into ranked, actionable client growth opportunities. Define the model architecture, feature engineering approach, and scoring methodology.

Assess and prepare data for AI readiness: Evaluate data assets across VisaNet transaction data, client CRM and profile data, Visa Analytics Platform, and market intelligence sources. Identify data gaps, quality issues, and structural barriers. Define the preparation, enrichment, and structuring needed to make data consumable by AI models and agents.

Build statistical and prediction models: Develop models for opportunity detection, root cause attribution, and opportunity sizing. Apply techniques spanning regression, classification, clustering, and machine learning to identify patterns across transaction data, client profiles, and market signals.

Own the opportunity scoring framework: Design and maintain the scoring framework that ranks and surfaces actionable opportunities for business development teams. Define score calibration, refresh cadences, and output formats that business users can act on.

Co-own data integration with VisaNet and enterprise data sources: Partner with Visa Technology, VCA, and Insights and Analytics teams to integrate VisaNet transaction data, Visa Analytics Platform data, and client CRM and profile data into the intelligence layer. Define data requirements, validate data quality, and ensure pipelines are reliable and scalable.

Ensure model documentation, validation, and governance: Partner with Responsible AI, Legal, Risk, Privacy, and Compliance teams to ensure models meet governance, regulatory, and Visa standards. Maintain comprehensive model documentation, validation records, and performance monitoring.

Communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders: Translate analytical findings and model outputs into clear, actionable recommendations for business stakeholders. Present opportunity intelligence to Marketing Services, VCA, and regional teams in formats that drive commercial decision-making.
