About this Role

We are seeking an experienced integration professional with 7–10 years of experience to lead the setup, operational readiness and end-to-end technical delivery of Apache Kafka and AWS/Amazon MSK platforms. The role combines hands-on expertise across Kafka, Java, Spring Boot and integration technologies with technical leadership, production support, stakeholder management and engineering mentorship. Experience with TIBCO BusinessWorks (BW) would be advantageous.

What you’ll do

• Lead Apache Kafka and Amazon MSK platform setup and operational readiness.
• Define and implement networking, IAM, encryption and monitoring requirements for reliable Kafka environments.
• Establish deployment automation and recovery planning for the platform.
• Own end-to-end technical delivery, from design and development through testing and production release.
• Conduct design and code reviews to maintain engineering quality.
• Provide support for critical production issues and contribute to service recovery.
• Apply Java, Spring Boot and integration expertise to solution design and implementation.
• Mentor engineers and encourage effective engineering practices.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to maintain alignment on technical delivery and priorities.
• Identify and manage technical and delivery risks.
• Ensure timely and high-quality delivery throughout the development and release lifecycle.

Who you are

You have 7–10 years of integration experience.

You have strong hands-on expertise in Apache Kafka.

You have experience setting up and operating AWS/Amazon MSK environments.

You understand networking, AWS IAM, encryption and monitoring within Kafka/MSK environments.

You have experience with deployment automation and recovery planning.

You have strong development expertise in Java and Spring Boot.

You have experience with integration technologies and patterns.

You can lead design and code reviews, testing, releases and critical production support.

You can mentor engineers and collaborate effectively with technical and business stakeholders.

You can identify and manage delivery and technical risks.

TIBCO BusinessWorks (BW) experience would be advantageous.
