We’re looking for a technical generalist and problem solver who enjoys understanding how things work, figuring out why they don’t, and using whatever tools are available to solve the problem. On a given day, that might mean troubleshooting a workstation, investigating a SQL query, writing a script to automate a repetitive process, diagnosing a network or hardware issue, working with an API, setting up equipment, researching an unfamiliar system, or helping a staff member solve a technology problem.

Key Qualifications Strong proficiency in SQL and relational databases , including: Joins CTEs Aggregations Subqueries Data validation Troubleshooting Comfortable navigating unfamiliar relational databases and understanding table relationships Experience building operational reports and translating business questions into SQL queries Ability to investigate discrepancies across multiple systems and datasets Experience with help desk and IT support Comfortable building automations and scheduled or automated reports using SQL and automation tools CompTIA A+ certification preferred What You’ll Work On You’ll work across IT infrastructure, data, automation, internal software, and technical support.

Your work may include: Writing and troubleshooting SQL queries Working with existing databases, reports, and data workflows Building scheduled and automated reports Investigating data discrepancies across multiple systems Troubleshooting and resolving internal IT support requests Setting up and maintaining Windows workstations, laptops, peripherals, printers, scanners, and other office technology Diagnosing and resolving computer issues Troubleshooting networking, connectivity, VoIP/PBX, and other infrastructure issues Helping administer and troubleshoot third-party platforms and enterprise software Working with APIs and system integrations Using modern AI-assisted development and agentic tools to investigate problems and build solutions What We’re Looking For You should have a solid technical foundation and be comfortable with several of the following: SQL and relational databases Windows troubleshooting and administration Computer hardware and repair Basic networking concepts Git and GitHub Scripting or programming Python and/or JavaScript APIs and integrations Command-line tools AI-assisted development tools General IT support and troubleshooting You do not need professional experience with every item on this list, but strong SQL skills are non-negotiable.

The Person We’re Looking For More than any particular certification or technology, we’re looking for someone who thinks like a troubleshooter. When something unfamiliar breaks, your reaction should be: “I don’t know yet, but I can figure it out.” You should be willing to read documentation, inspect logs, test hypotheses, research unfamiliar technology, use AI effectively, ask good questions, and keep digging until you understand what’s happening.

You’ll also work directly with nontechnical employees, so patience, friendliness, and the ability to explain technical issues clearly are important. Why This Role Is Different This position offers an unusual amount of exposure for someone early in their technology career. You’ll work closely with the Director of Information Systems and gradually take ownership of systems, reporting, data workflows, automations, and technical projects as your knowledge grows.
