About us
What began in 1910 as a small co-operative of just three pharmacies has grown into Wesfarmers Health—a leading Australian organisation in health, beauty, and wellness.
Today, Wesfarmers Health proudly employs over 3,600 team members, all committed to delivering accessible, innovative, and trusted health and beauty services to Australians nationwide, across retail, medi-aesthetics, digital health, and wholesale and supply chain operations.
What you’ll do
We are seeking a Sales Operations & Delivery Lead to join our Wholesale Sales team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. Reporting to the General Manager – Wholesale Sales, you'll play a critical role in identifying commercial and operational opportunities across our Retail and Wholesale portfolio — and then owning the delivery of initiatives that turn those opportunities into results.
This is a hands-on delivery role for someone who moves fast from insight to action. You will spot the problem or opportunity, build the plan, and drive it through to completion. You'll work across pricing, contracts, trading terms, loyalty programs and sales execution, partnering closely with sales leaders and cross-functional teams to get things done.
Key activities include
- Identifying commercial and operational issues, inefficiencies and growth opportunities across the wholesale and retail portfolio — then owning the response
- Developing clear implementation plans for sales and commercial initiatives, and driving them through to delivery with accountability for outcomes
- Leading projects that improve margin, pricing, sales effectiveness or customer outcomes — from scoping through to execution and benefit realisation
- Diagnosing root causes of underperformance (margin leakage, pricing risks, contract gaps) and mobilising corrective action
- Partnering with sales leaders to design and embed improved ways of working, tools and processes that stick in the field
- Maintaining governance and controls across contracts, frameworks and commercial agreements — and fixing gaps when you find them
- Building the reporting and dashboards needed to track initiative progress and performance, not as an end in themselves, but as tools to drive decisions and accountability
- If you thrive on getting things across the line, can move comfortably between strategy and execution, and want a role where your impact is measured by what changes — not what you've analysed — this is the opportunity for you.
What you’ll bring
- Proven experience in sales operations, commercial management and project delivery within pharmaceutical wholesaling, FMCG, retail, healthcare distribution or complex B2B environments — with a track record of delivering, not just recommending
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives from identification through to implementation, with clear accountability for outcomes
- Strong commercial acumen — you can identify where the value is and build a credible case for change
- Enough analytical capability to interrogate data and diagnose issues independently, without needing a specialist to do it for you
- Strong grasp of AI capabilities to accelerate analysis, surface insights and optimise how work gets done
- Experience navigating contract management, pricing frameworks and margin levers in a high-volume environment
- Advanced Microsoft Excel capability (financial modelling, scenario analysis, Power Query)
- Degree in Business, Commerce, Finance, Operations or a related discipline
- Why us?
- Access to employee benefits across Wesfarmers including team member discounts at Bunnings, Kmart, Target, Officeworks, OnePass, Priceline, atomica, Instantscripts and Clear Skincare Clinics
- Ongoing professional development and career opportunities across the Wesfarmers Health Division and the broader Wesfarmers Group
- Novated leasing options
- Access to our Employee Assistance Program (EAP) - available to all team members and their immediate family members, 24/7, 365 days a year
- Beautiful outdoor terrace for work and recreation
- Food, coffee and health & wellbeing facilities onsite including a landlord operated gym
- Dedicated end of trip facilities (cycle racks, showers, lockers)
- Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Applicants
- Wesfarmers Health aims to become an employer of choice for First Nations Australians, through investments that attract, empower and retain First Nations team members within our stores, distribution centres, clinics and corporate offices.
- As part of the Wesfarmers group, we provide authentic support through a diverse range of programs and initiatives, designed to empower you on your journey towards personal achievement and professional advancement.
