Senior Project Manager

Context/Environment:Westinghouse is looking for a Nuclear Project Manager within the Pumps and Motors organization located in Nivelles, Belgium. You will be an important player in project performance from opportunity through project closure.

Location: Your base will be at the European site in Nivelles, Belgium. We may require you to travel to meet customers and suppliers.

Main Responsabilities

• You will supervise and execute medium complexity project or a portfolio of related projects:
• Responsible for all phases in the project management process.
• Define resource requirements for project execution.
• Understand contract requirements to ensure successful project implementation.
• Provide management with up-to-date and accurate reports of each project status using and supporting Westinghouse project management systems and controls for various projects.
• Manage risks and opportunities.
• Communicate project progress to various stakeholders (internal and external).
• Participate in preparing bids for new projects (technical proposals, budget estimates, scheduling, etc.).
• Ensure rigorous monitoring of Westinghouse KPIs.
• Organize project Lessons Learned (REX) meetings.

Skills

• A Master's degree in Mechanical or Electro-Mechanical Engineering;
• 5 years of relevant professional experience as Project Manager
• Knowledge of construction codes (RCCM/ASME)
• Professional proficiency in English and French.
• Safety and quality culture required.

Soft Skills

Build good relationships with company partners, make decisions, and coordinate multiple activities.

Collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders. (project managers, workshop supervisors, technicians, clients…).

Identify technical issues in a structured manner.
