Bilingual Accounts Receivable Clerk

• Sun Commodities is a privately held company. We are one of the main players in the wholesale of produce in the State of Florida. Sun distributes produce locally, internationally and services the cruise industry.
• The Account Receivable Clerk- Bilingual secures revenue by verifying and posting receipts and resolving discrepancies.
• Posts customer payments by recording cash, checks, and credit card transactions.
• Posts revenues by verifying and entering transactions form local deposits.
• Updates receivables by totaling unpaid invoices.
• Maintains records of payments.

Minimum Requirements

• High School, AA- degree in Accounting preferred
• Must be Bilingual to speak English and Spanish
• Ability to maintain organized work area
• Must have excellent data entry skills
• Must possess general math skills
• Able to analyze information and pays attention to detail
• General accounting experience required. ( GAAP)
• Must have excellent communication skills.
• A minimum of 1 year experience in similar position
• Interpersonal skills and the ability to work well within a team environment
• Completes accounting work with a high level of accuracy
• Must be able to work productively with minimal supervision
• Ability to manage and complete multiple responsibilities within established timeframes
