Associate Director of Marketing & Business Development

Position Summary

Tarzana Treatment Centers (TTC), a leading nonprofit behavioral healthcare provider, is seeking an Associate Director of Marketing & Business Development to support payer relations, contract management, and revenue growth across managed care, private insurance, and private pay services.

3 to 5 years’ experience in Substance Use and Mental healthcare business development, managed care contracting, or payer relations

Strong analytical, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills

Ability to work cross‑functionally and present data to leadership

Knowledge of primary care a plus

Bachelor's degree or above.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage develop and maintain insurance contracts, including performance analysis and rate optimization
• Resolve managed care, private insurance, and private pay issues
• Support accounts receivable related to managed care contracts
• Build and maintain relationships with health plans, hospitals, medical groups, and self‑insured employers and other referral sources
• Co‑chair Business Development meetings and present utilization and admissions data
• Collaborate with community liaisons on marketing and growth strategies
• Ensure consistency of TTC’s brand and image across outreach materials
• HOURS: Flexible
• Generally, 8 Hours per Day / 5 Days per Week
