Payroll Analyst

Preferred location would be Saskatoon, SK Canada, or Duluth, Georgia. Remote work may be considered.

Position Summary

The Payroll Analyst will have primary responsibility for ensuring accuracy and completeness of payroll for Vecima’s US entity and support payroll for our Canadian entity. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, an ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to meeting deadlines.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure accuracy of bi-weekly payroll for approximately 140 domestic employees across 14 states
• Ensure accuracy of 401k contributions
• Prepare periodic reports with proper support
• Other duties and special projects as may be assigned from time-to-time including workers compensation audits/requests, general audit requests, vacation accruals, payroll tax compliance, etc.

Prerequisitesfor Success

Organized with attention to detail

Minimum of 3 years of relevant payroll experience

Working knowledge of ADP Workforce Now HRIS/Payroll/Timekeeping

Exposure to Ultimate Software (UltiPro) helpful

Strong knowledge of MS Excel

Ability to work and communicate with people in varying disciplines with different backgrounds
