BetaNXT Finance/FinTech

Business Analysis (financial services, fintech, wealth mgmt)

Bengaluru, India In person Full-time

Senior Specialist, Business Analysis

Role Summary

TrustWealthX (TWX) is BetaNXT’s trust platform for financial institutions and operates without a dedicated scrum team. As the Business Analyst, you will partner closely with the TWX Product Manager and manage day-to-day execution, enabling her to focus on strategy, sales, and client relationships. Your responsibilities will include defining requirements, triaging production issues, onboarding clients, and coordinating with Fi-TeK and BetaNXT’s product and engineering teams. You will report to the Head of Operations Platforms while working as an integral member of the Product Manager’s team.

  • Key responsibilities

Requirements and documentation

  • Write business requirements that earn sign-off from internal teams, clients, and Fi-TeK.
  • Produce data flows, process flows, Epics, and Stories that engineering can build from without a follow-up meeting.
  • Keep a decision log so scope, rationale, and approvals are traceable.
  • Client onboarding
  • Run onboarding workstreams for new TWX clients, from requirements gathering through go-live readiness.
  • Document each client’s configuration, data, and process needs, and track open items to closure.
  • Turn what you learn from each onboarding into reusable templates for the next one.
  • Production issue triage
  • Work incoming production issues through ServiceNow and JIRA, assess impact, and route them to the right team.
  • Gather the evidence engineering needs, including SQL and Snowflake analysis of the underlying data.
  • Trace and analyze end-to-end transaction flows from Beta Host through Snowflake to Fi-TeK, validating data completeness, accuracy, sequencing, and processing outcomes.
  • Troubleshoot transaction and data-processing issues across system boundaries, isolate root causes, identify impacted records, and coordinate resolution with BetaNXT engineering and Fi-TeK.
  • Keep clients and internal stakeholders informed on status, and document root cause and resolution.
  • Fi-TeK and cross-team coordination
  • Act as a day-to-day working contact with Fi-TeK on requirements, dependencies, and open questions.
  • Align BetaNXT product management and engineering teams on priorities and handoffs, since no dedicated team exists to do it for you.
  • Cover for the PM in client, partner, and internal meetings when she is unavailable.
  • Sales support
  • Help the PM prepare for prospect conversations with accurate process flows, capability summaries, and answers to technical and operational questions.
  • Draft inputs for proposals and RFP responses, and join prospect calls when needed.
  • Delivery visibility and analysis
  • Build and maintain JIRA dashboards that show the state of platform work, and link JIRA work items to Confluence documentation.
  • Prepare release documentation for platform changes.
  • Analyze platform and client data to support decisions, surface trends, and answer questions from the PM, Clients, Partner, and leadership.
  • Analyze transaction volumes, processing trends, exceptions, and anomalies to identify emerging issues, explain variances, support capacity planning, and provide actionable insights to product, operations, clients, and partners.
  • Use LLM and AI tools to speed up drafting, analysis, and documentation, and check their output before it goes out.
  • Boundaries
