ORock operates a private, high-performance fiber optic network and an enterprise-grade open source cloud to meet the most stringent requirements for security, performance, cost predictability, and control.

Currently we have a need for a Solution Architect. You must be a U.S. Person. Remote work allowed.

The

• Solution Architect position will support various teams such as the ORock development,
• performance architecture, data science, and other infrastructure teams to
• provide technical support, infrastructure, and sales solutions. This position
• will support the senior staff on the ORock cloud ecosystem, architectures &
• products to provide technical consulting to customers as a trusted advisor.

This

• role is a hands-on position working directly with the Enterprise Cloud Team.
• Those successful in this position
• will have:
• Experience with Red Hat tools OpenStack, OpenShift, Ceph, Ansible

Red Hat Certification

• Experience with Cloud Orchestration frameworks and their role in IT transformation
• Experience crafting innovative solutions and designing and automating cloud deployment
• Provide technical support and subject matter expertise
• Produce high-quality technical documentation
• Support the sales process by collecting customer requirements
• Lead the development of proposed technical solutions
• Prepare and deliver sales presentations and technical proposals
• Coordinating with and providing support to BD/Sales team for technical solutions and customer meetings
• Experience in design/deployment of Public cloud offerings
• Experience with listening, understanding, and conveying customer requirements
• Experience building prototype integration projects using hyperscale technologies, 3rd party, and open source frameworks
• Maintain professional business relationships within target accounts as well as develop new opportunities

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree

• and/or technical experience meeting the following years:
• 3+ years of Cloud
• Architecture experience
• 2+ years of sales
• experience
• 4+ years
• Infrastructure technologies

Experience with

IaaS, PaaS, DaaS
